ABOUT THE PEE DEE ALL-STAR GAMES

The Pee Dee All-Star Showcase’s inaugural game was played in 2019.  Just weeks before, one of the founders of the Pee Dee All-Star Game attended a similar event in Columbia, SC.  While appreciating the exposure that the event provided for players, the question was raised, “Why is there nothing like this in the Pee Dee area?” The Pee Dee has talented players,  why not create an opportunity for these student athletes to showcase their basketball skills and gain exposure to college coaches and potential opportunities to play at the next level? Confirming that no such event existed in the Pee Dee Area, the idea for the Pee Dee All Star Game was born, and the rest is history.

This showcase seeks to put the best talent in the Pee Dee on the same floor for one day. Outstanding male and female players from across the region are invited to showcase their basketball talents.  Coaches from all over the country are invited as well;  programs of various levels, including JUCO, DII, DIII, and NAIA are represented. Recruiting services and media who help to highlight and share the talents of the players are also welcomed. The games are live-streamed to coaches who are unable to attend in person.
